Let's celebrate the end of summer with our favorite people! Erm...our dogs. Check out this handy list of dog swim events in Maryland where your dog can paddle and play in our favorite local pools! Please read each facility's rules and event details closely. Please also keep in mind that these pools don't have to hold these events for our furry friends -- please clean up after your dogs so we can doggie paddle for years to come! Don't forget to snap some pics and tag us on social!
Dates: Saturday, August 22nd, 11am-3pm & Sunday, August 23rd, 11am-3pm

The pool Is officially closed to humans and opened for dogs! Dogs will be allowed to swim at the pool before it is closed and cleaned for the winter. Each dog MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult. Any dog displaying any signs of aggression will be asked to leave immediately. ALL DOGS MUST PROVIDE WRITTEN PROOF OF A CURRENT RABIES VACCINATION before they will be allowed into the event, and dogs owned by county residents must have a current Montgomery County dog license, available from the County Police Department. Please register in the name of the responsible adult who will accompany the dog.

Cost: $10 If registered by Wednesday, August 19th. $15 after that.
Join in for a tail-wagging good time as we wrap up the pool season with a special one-day dog swim event! Let your pup enjoy some fun in the water, including access to the wading pool. Our friends from Montgomery Village Animal Hospital will be on site to assist with check-in and provide basic doggy first aid support.
Rules:
At check-In, all dogs must have:
A valid Montgomery County pet license and tag
Proof of vaccinations
Be spayed or neutered
And only one dog per human 18 years and older will be permitted

Cost: $15 per car (proceeds go to SPCA of Anne Arundel County)
Attendees can look forward to a fun-filled day featuring live music, food and drinks, vendors and shopping, beach access for dogs to swim and play, fun contests and activities and Plenty of photo-worthy moments with your furry best friend

Cost: $5
Bring your pup to the Greenview Drive Pool and enjoy a refreshing swim to conclude the “Dog Days of Summer." Main and wading pools will be the only pools available for pet/owner swimming. Owners must be able to restrain pet. If you have a membership to the Dr. Bruce Morley Dog Park, enjoy the event for free with presentation of valid membership card (limit 2 dog per pass). Free to owners!
5. DOCC x Canton Swim & Social Club (3 nights!!)
Dates: Tuesday, 9/15 through Thursday, 9/17 (all 3 nights!)
Address: Swim & Social Cub/Raw & Refined Pool
2760 Lighthouse Point E, Baltimore, MD 21224
Cost: $17 for 1 hooman only, $30 for 1 human & dog, $45 for 1 human & dog to attend BOTH sessions in one night, $90 for 1 human & dog to come & go as they please EVERY night! Each ticket includes one free drink from the Raw & Refined bar!
Rules:
Dogs will be allowed off-leash on the pool deck area only and must be leashed once they exit the pool area. Please enter and exit via the pool area and do not walk through Raw & Refined.
This is a 21+ event. No children will be permitted.
One dog per human.
Dogs must be friendly towards both dogs and humans.
All dogs must be current on vaccinations AND altered.
Please ensure that your dog uses the bathroom before entering the pool deck.
If your dog is not getting along with other dogs at the event, you will be asked to leave and will not be refunded.
Life vests for dogs, while not required, are recommended.
Bring a towel for your dog.
While toys ARE welcome, please do NOT bring any dog treats/food.
*In case of inclement weather, this event will be rescheduled with refunds offered. If we cannot reschedule, you will be refunded. Inclement weather = heavy rain or lightning.

Cost: $7.18 per dog - general admission. $5 cash donation per dog is required (proceeds go to Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter and dogs in need of homes)
Rules:
Dogs must be sociable and friendly towards other dogs.
All dogs must be current on vaccinations.
Please clean up after your dog and take them on regular bathroom breaks to ensure the pool stays clean while the dogs are swimming.
No humans allowed in the pool, this event for your furry friends only!
