Let's celebrate the end of summer with our favorite people! Erm...our dogs. Check out this handy list of dog swim events around Maryland where your dog can paddle and play in our favorite local pools! Please read each facility's rules and event details closely. Please also keep in mind that these pools don't have to hold these events for our furry friends -- please clean up after your dogs so we can doggie paddle for years to come! Don't forget to snap some pics and tag us on social!
Date: Monday, September 2nd, 5-7:30pm (rain date is September 3rd)
Address: Middle Mill Social Pool

Cost: $20 per family (proceeds go to Baltimore Humane Society)
Rules:
Dogs must be friendly and up to date on vaccinations.
Bring poop bags and take frequent bathroom breaks.

Cost: $5 per dog (FREE with presentation of membership to Dr. Bruce Morely Dog Park) (limit 2 dogs per pass)
Rules:
Main and wading pools will be the only pools available for pet/owner swimming.
Owners must be able to restrain pet.

Cost: Non-members - $15 + $10 per dog. Members - $10 per dog (proceeds will benefit Jacks Galore Russell Rescue)
Rules:

Limit 2 dogs per adult handler;
Dogs MUST be friendly with other dogs and people
Proof of rabies, including certificate number, expiration date and veterinarian's name, REQUIRED and must be provided at check in.
No dogs under 6 months of age.
No unneutered dogs allowed.
Dogs must be leashed outside the pool.
No leashes in the pool.
You may swim with the dogs at your own risk.
Please bring a water bowl for your pet.
Please bring towels and poop bags for your pet; all pet waste MUST be picked up properly.
No refunds due to weather.
If you or your pet is deemed disruptive you may be asked to leave at any time.

4. Fall Festival & Dog Swim - Towson (benefits BARCS)

Cost: $7.18 per dog - general admission. $5 cash donation per dog is required (proceeds go to Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter and dogs in need of homes)
Rules:
Dogs must be sociable and friendly towards other dogs.
All dogs must be current on vaccinations.
Please clean up after your dog and take them on regular bathroom breaks to ensure the pool stays clean while the dogs are swimming.
No humans allowed in the pool, this event only for your furry friends!

5. Dog Swim - Eldersburg (benefits BARCS)
Date: Saturday, September 13th, 11:30am-3:30pm

Rules:
Dogs must be sociable and friendly towards other dogs.
All dogs must be current on vaccinations.
Please clean up after your dog and take them on regular bathroom breaks to ensure the pool stays clean while the dogs are swimming.
No children under the age of 16 will be allowed unless closely supervised at all times. Please keep in mind this will be a “dog park” atmosphere and although this is a family event, it is not recommended to bring small children.

6. Dog Swim Pawty (benefits Pets on Wheels)
Date: Saturday, September 13th, 1-3pm

Cost: $15 per dog (all proceeds benefit Pets on Wheels)
Rules:
Limit 2 dogs per adult handler; $15/dog.
Dogs MUST be friendly with other dogs and people.
Proof of rabies, including certificate number, expiration date and veterinarian's name, REQUIRED and must be provided at check in (tags will not be accepted if there is no clear expiration date)..
No children under the age of 12 allowed on site.
No dogs under 6 months of age.
No unneutered dogs allowed.
No one under the age of 18 may assist the dogs in the pool.
No human recreational swimming.
No extendable/retractable leashes allowed on site.
No leashes in the pool.
Absolutely no food or treats allowed anywhere on site; please bring a water bowl for your pet.
Please bring towels and poop bags for your pet; all pet waste MUST be picked up properly.
No refunds due to weather.
If you or your pet is deemed disruptive you may be asked to leave at any time.
Pets on Wheels Inc reserves the right to refuse entry to any person or pet for any reason.
Date: Wednesday, October 1st & Thursday, October 2nd (2 sessions each night!)
Session 1: 5 - 6:15 PM
Session 2: 6:30 - 7:45 PM

Cost: $30 for 1 human w/ dog, $17 for 1 human NO dog, includes one complimentary drink!
Rules:
Dogs will be allowed off-leash on the pool deck area only and must be leashed once they leave the area to exit the hotel. Please enter and exit the pool deck area through the side entrance and NOT through the hotel lobby. Please do not walk through the hotel soaking wet.
This is a 21+ event. No children will be permitted.
One dog per human.
Dogs must be friendly towards both dogs and humans.
All dogs must be current on vaccinations AND altered.
Please ensure that your dog uses the bathroom before entering the pool deck.
If your dog is not getting along with other dogs at the event, you will be asked to leave and will not be refunded.
Life vests for dogs, while not required, are recommended. highly
Bring a towel for your dog.
Do NOT bring any dog toys or dog treats/food.
In case of inclement weather, this event will be rescheduled with refunds offered. If we cannot reschedule, you will be refunded. Inclement weather = heavy rain or lightning

9. DOCC x The Sagamore Pendry (2 nights!)
