Let's celebrate the end of summer with our favorite people! Erm...our dogs. Check out this handy list of dog swim events around Maryland where your dog can paddle and play in our favorite local pools! Please read each facility's rules and event details closely. Please also keep in mind that these pools don't have to hold these events for our furry friends -- please clean up after your dogs so we can doggie paddle for years to come! Don't forget to snap some pics and tag us on social!
1. Doggie Paddle - Owings Mills
Date: Tuesday, September 5th, 5-7:30pm (rain date is September 6th!)
Address: Middle Mill Social Pool

Cost: $15 per dog (proceeds go to Baltimore Humane Society)
Rules: Dogs must be friendly and up to date on vaccinations. Bring poop bags and take frequent bathroom breaks.

2. Doggie Dip Day - Laurel
Date: Saturday, September 9th, 10 AM - 12 PM
Address: Greenview Drive Pool

Cost: $5 per dog (FREE with presentation of membership to Dr. Bruce Morely Dog Park) (limit 2 dogs per pass)
Rules: Main and wading pools only, must be able to restrain your dog

3. Dog Swim Pawty - Bowie
Date: Saturday, September 16th, 1-3pm (rain or shine, no refunds)
Address: Whitehall Pool & Tennis Club

Cost: $15 per dog (all proceeds benefit Pets on Wheels)
Rules: Must bring proof of current rabies vaccination. Cash, check, Venmo & Paypal are all accepted at the door. Tickets do not have to be purchased ahead of time.
4. DOCC x Swim Club - Canton
Date: Tuesday, September 26th AND Wednesday, September 27th 5pm-6:15pm and 6:30pm-7:45pm
Address: 2760 Lighthouse Point, Baltimore, MD 21224
Cost: $30 for 1 human + 1 dog (includes 1 free drink from Raw & Refined), $17 for 1 human, no dog
Rules: Dogs must be friendly and up to date on vaccinations. This event is 21+ only. Bring a towel!

5. Festival for the Animals - Cockeysville
Date: Saturday, September 23rd, 10am-2pm (rain or shine)
Address: Padonia Park Club

Cost: Tickets start at $30 (proceeds go to the MD SPCA)
Rules: Owners must show proof that their dog is vaccinated for Rabies, Bordetella, and Distemper/Parvo to participate in the dog swim.

6. Merritt Clubs - White Marsh
Date: Saturday, September 30th, 10am-12:30pm

Cost: $5 cash donation required (all proceeds go to BARCS)
Rules: Dogs must be friendly and up to date on vaccinations. Bring poop bags and take frequent bathroom breaks. No humans are allowed in the pool.
7. DOCC x The Sagamore Pendry - Fell's Point
Date: Friday, October 27th , 5pm-6:15pm and 6:30-7:45pm
Address: 1715 Thames St, Baltimore, MD 21231
Cost: $35 for 1 human + 1 dog (includes one free drink and a DOCC koozie), $20 for 1 human, no dog
Rules: Dogs must be friendly and up to date on vaccinations. Bring poop bags and take frequent bathroom breaks. Towels will be provided. Please do not walk through the hotel soaking wet. This event is 21+ only.
