About the Event
The 21st annual BARCStoberfest is so much more than just a "W-A-L-K" in the park... it's a 5K run, a beer garden, a family friendly festival with games and entertainment, but most importantly an annual fundraising lifeline for thousands of animals at BARCS. Most attendees go first thing in the morning to participate in the dog-friendly 5K run or Half-Mile Pet Parade. It is asked of everyone who joins to donates or raise a minimum of $50.
This year, there will be a fresh spin on the walk event: the 1-Mile Walk has been retired and replaced with a shorter, spirited Half-Mile Pet Parade—so even more pets (and their people) can join in the fun!
Whether you're running the full 5K or showing off your pet’s best costume in the parade, you're making a lifesaving difference.
