About the Event
The BARCS Dog Wedding Gala is back—and this year’s celebration of love, laughter, and lifesaving magic is bigger (and furrier) than ever. This event will be moving to The Hippodrome Theatre at the France-Merrick Performing Arts Center, a stunning new venue with more room for guests, incredible acoustics, and its very own attached parking garage (a small miracle in Baltimore!).
Meet the 2026 Newlyweds: Rooney & Wendell!
Rooney was rescued by BARCS after being found emaciated and neglected—her sweet face melting hearts the moment she met her moms and BARCS fosters, The Laurens.
Wendell was one of more than 80 “Cake” dogs saved from an illegal breeding and neglect case. With help from BARCS’ medical team and the love of his family, Cyndi and Erik Kuhn, Wendell made a full recovery and is now living his best (and fluffiest) life.
This isn’t just a celebration of love—it’s a lifesaving fundraiser…
